Susan D'Amato

Retired physics professor, Susan D’Amato is a native of Greenville and a graduate of Furman University and the University of South Carolina. She began volunteering for voter registration events in Greenville and is honored to now head our League’s VR team, which offers voter registration at schools, retirement communities, and public events across Greenville.
-
Betty Haynes
BOARD MEMBER / MEMBERSHIP
Betty comes to the Greenville League from the Seminole County and Florida state LWV, where she served as Membership Chair. Moving to Simpsonville in 2021, she quickly sought out and joined the Greenville League. She believes any organization is only as strong as its membership, so she is working to assist all League committees in any way to tell the League story, get citizens involved, and join the League to let their Voices be Heard. Betty is a graduate of the HBCU, Grambling State University in her home state of Louisiana, holds a Masters in Public Administration from Western Kentucky University, a Masters in Management, and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
